A visionary leader and passionate educator, Mrs. Monmoyuree Borkotoky brings over 23 years of distinguished experience in school education. Known for her commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, she has taken over the mantle of leadership at Delhi Public School Khanapara as Principal, succeeding the revered Founder Principal, Mrs. Malvika Bhatt.
Since joining DPS Khanapara as Headmistress in 2021, Mrs. Borkotoky has played a pivotal role in enhancing the academic ethos and nurturing a vibrant school culture. Her deep understanding of educational leadership, curriculum design and student engagement has significantly enriched the institution.
Before this, she served with distinction as PGT English and Head of the English Department at Army Public School, Narangi, for around 19 years. Her effective pedagogy and empathetic mentorship have left a lasting impact on generations of learners, particularly in preparing Class XII CBSE board students with academic rigor and personal care.
Her achievements as an academician have been recognized through multiple prestigious accolades, including :Letters of Appreciation from Ms. Smriti Zubin Irani, former HRD Minister of India, for her students’ outstanding Class XII CBSE board results (2014 & 2015),Best Teacher’s Award (Assam State Category) for the International English Olympiad in 2012, Outstanding Teacher Award by the Institute of Hotel Management in 2017.
A multifaceted personality, Mrs. Borkotoky is also a cultural enthusiast and a strong advocate for co-curricular engagement. She has actively participated in and conducted a wide array of programs including debating, dramatics, dance, Model United Nations (MUN), public speaking and workshops as a certified CBSE resource person.
